These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and use of Belle’s Boutique’s event and party space in Oatlands. By making a booking or attending an event, you agree to comply with the following:
1. Booking & Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your preferred date and time.
- Bookings are confirmed only once the deposit has been received.
- Tentative bookings will not be held without payment.
2. Payments
- Full payment must be received no later than seven (7) days before the event date.
- Late payments may result in cancellation of the event and forfeiture of the deposit.
- Final guest numbers must be confirmed one week prior to the event. Additional attendees on the day will incur extra charges, payable by the next business day.
3. Rescheduling & Cancellations
- You may reschedule your event if a written request is submitted at least one (1) month prior to the original date, subject to availability.
- Cancellations within one month of the event date will result in the loss of the deposit and any payments made.
- No refunds will be provided for non-attending guests or change of mind.
4. Guest Conduct & Supervision
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian upon arrival and departure.
- While Belle’s Boutique staff will facilitate and supervise activities, we are not a licensed childcare provider. A responsible adult is required to remain onsite for children under 6.
- All guests are expected to behave respectfully and follow instructions from staff at all times. Aggressive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate removal of individuals from the venue.
5. Safety & Hygiene
- All services, activities, and products used during the event are selected with safety in mind. We use non-toxic, age-appropriate materials for children’s parties.
- Parents or guardians must notify Belle’s Boutique of any allergies or medical conditions prior to the event.
- The venue is cleaned and sanitised regularly in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- In the event of illness or injury, Belle’s Boutique staff will administer basic first aid and contact emergency services if needed.
6. Damage & Liability
- The client (or parent/guardian for child events) is financially responsible for any damage caused to the venue, equipment, or property during the event by guests or invitees.
- Belle’s Boutique is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the venue.
- While all reasonable efforts are made to provide a safe environment, Belle’s Boutique is not responsible for any injuries sustained on the premises due to misuse of facilities, failure to follow instructions, or unforeseen accidents.
7. Venue Access & Use
- Access to the venue is available for the duration of your allocated booking time only. Early arrival or late departure may incur additional charges.
- Decorations may be brought in with prior approval, but must not damage walls, furniture, or fixtures.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited at all children’s parties. Adult-only events may request BYO alcohol in writing for approval, subject to compliance with our safety and conduct policies.
8. Photography & Media
- Belle’s Boutique may take photographs or videos during events for promotional use, unless you advise us otherwise in writing prior to the event.
- You are welcome to take your own photos, but professional photography or videography must be arranged in advance.
9. Force Majeure
- Belle’s Boutique is not liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or illness outbreaks. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule the event at no additional cost.
